The energy produced in this ground solar plant is connected to the grid
Universal Kraft developed a ground solar plant in Ringsås, with a total capacity of 1207 kWp connected to the grid. This plant is equipped with 2236 PV panels in a total area of 1.79 ha. The panels are installed on a fixed structure which gives several advantages, such as easy installation, no need to use concrete, higher reliability when compared to piles or screws and reduced need for marking. The site also includes a power station, four sensors for measuring and control purposes and a video camera to allow a visual overview of the pant and a fast check on the site conditions.
