The Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce allied with Universal Kraft and other companies to promote the Sustainability Initiative.
The Sustainability Initiative promoted by CLS in collaboration with the Embassy of Sweden, Business Sweden, AICEP and its corporate partners, AstraZeneca, Ericsson, Peniche Ocean Watch, Volvo, Xpand-it and Universal Kraft had the purpose of bringing Swedish and Portuguese entities to the fore and show how they have innovated and incorporated sustainability into their operations in an effective way.
This collaboration is part of our focus area in Renewable Energy where both Sweden and Portugal share and emphasize ambitious climate goals, strong support for innovation and are today in the forefront of the sustainable development agenda.
Sustainability, transparency and a reduced ecological footprint, are well established key words when speaking about Swedish values and even printed in the Swedish Foreign Policy. Portugal on the other hand, is being recognized showing a long and profound history of excellent craftmanship, natural resources and has recently climbed to amongst the top of the list of countries with eco-friendly policies.
In this context, we participated in the Renewable Energy Talk and shared with CLS some of our innovative work in the area of renewable energies, at this stage with emphasis on solar energy and the creation of large solar plants in sunny Portugal.
For this, CLS Secretary General and Chairwoman met with Universal Kraft in one of our upcoming sites in Alentejo to put in action some of the creative videos for the Sustainability Initiative.
Universal Kraft stands as a beacon of sustainability, dedicated to advancing renewable energy solutions that pave the way for a cleaner, more sustainable tomorrow.
